Baby Genius

Play about an online predator whose real-life encounter with a vulnerable young woman has lethal consequences. An examination of new forms of digital communication and how they can distort social interaction. Received a staged reading in the Barbican Pit Theatre, directed by David Woods of the renowned Ridiculusmus Theatre Company.

The Stern Gang

Screenplay about the infamous Jewish terror group which operated in Palestine in the 1940s. Written in collaboration with James Morton-Haworth, grandson of of Geoffrey Morton, the British police officer who tracked down gang-leader Avraham Stern and eventually killed him. Long-listed for the American Zoetrope Script competition.

The Church on Spilled Blood

Screenplay, written with well-known Russian Director Oleg Teptsov, about a group of St. Petersburg artists in the 1990s and their self-destructive strategies for survival in the chaotic aftermath of the collapse of the Soviet Union.
Award winner of the Hartley Merrill Prize, adjudicated by David Puttnam and Robert Redford.

BRITISH PRESS AWARD

Known as the ‘Oscars’ for the UK Press, organised by the Society of Editors, the judges awarded these top prizes for the success of their digital subscription models and consistent high-quality news investigations.

HARTLEY MERRILL PRIZE

The Hartley-Merrill award carries a $10,000 cash prize and winning writers are honoured at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in Los Angeles.

ZOETROPE AWARD

The contest's aim is to seek out and encourage compelling film narratives, and to introduce the next generation of great screenwriters to today's leading production companies and agencies.
